Shipping policy
We endeavor to process all orders as quickly as possible, with all orders being process and shipped within 2-3 business days. However, please allow for additional processing time during periods with high order volumes and around public & school holidays. As a family run business with young families running around our feet, we can’t always get away to pack orders during these holiday periods.
Please allow between 2-10 working days for your order to arrive. If more than 10 working days have passed please email us at hello@thewastefreehome.co.nz to review the status of your order.
FREE SHIPPING
To qualify for free shipping you must spend over $200 NZD. Unfortunately free Shipping does not apply on Large, Extra Large & Oversized shipping orders, orders that are shipped outside of New Zealand or rural deliveries.
Free shipping also does not combine with other discount codes.

Please note that Waiheke, Great Barrier and the Chatham Islands may incur additional costs over and above our base rates – we will contact you directly if shipping costs need to be amended.
RURAL DELIVERIES
If you are rural and have not selected the rural delivery cost at checkout we will contact you to sort out any additional charges but you can also supply a non-rural delivery address for shipping at no extra charge.
SHIPPING COST
Unfortunately our cost of shipping is sometimes higher than other businesses as we choose to send your parcels out plastic free and we endeavour to reuse boxes and packaging wherever possible. This makes cost of shipping and packing significantly higher than if we were to use the post office own plastic bags.
MADE TO ORDER
If you have purchased a 'made to order product' your order will be shipped as soon as your item has been made and quality checked.
INCORRECT ADDRESSES
If your package is returned to us because of an incorrect address supplied by you - we can resend to the correct address for the cost of the additional shipping. We will invoice you the cost of additional shipping to the correct address and then resend to you once funds have cleared.
REFUNDS, RETURNS & EXCHANGES
Refunds, returns and exchanges will be handled through email if necessary.
