Yes, you can! As long as your order hasn’t already been packed and shipped, just send us an email and we will be happy to help you
sort it out.

Some of our products are quite large and expensive to make so we make them to order. Once you have placed your order, we let our artisan friends know to make up your specific item.

We aim for between 1-4 weeks. But as we use local craftspeople, it depends on how busy the workshops are and how quickly we can get supplies. If you need your item ASAP please get in touch before purchase and we will see what we can do to expedite the process for you. hello@thewastefreehome.co.nz

We do our best to process all orders as quickly as possible, with all orders being process and shipped within 2-3 business days. However, please allow for additional processing time during periods with high order volumes and around public & school holidays. As a family run business with young families, we can’t always get away to pack orders!

We try to process everything within 2-3 business days. Shipping can then take 1-2* nights to arrive depending on where you live: North
Island Urban targets next day delivery and rural an additional day. South Island Urban targets 2 day with an additional day for rural.

Pre-Orders are processed and dispatched from the date specified upon the relevant product page.

The Waste-Free Home does not offer split shipments for online orders containing Pre-Order styles.

In the event of a delay in receiving the required inventory, all Pre-Order customers will be contacted, including an estimate of the updated date of dispatch.

Yes! You are welcome to pick up from our home studio. We are based in Rural Cambridge in the North Island. Please note that our studio is part of our family home as we are an online only business.

We can ship to Australia but shipping can get quite expensive. Please refer to our shipping page for Australian shipping rates.

We ship your orders direct from The Waste-free Home HQ in our back garden. But some made to order items are shipped directly from our New Zealand based artisans workshops. This is to minimize the journey your items have to go on!

We certainly do! If you have a specific amount you would like to purchase please let us know.

Gift cards are currently delivered digitally and contain instructions on how to redeem them at checkout. They have no additional processing fees.
