Named after our grandmothers - Beryl & Jean, these rattan laundry baskets are built the way things used to be built: by hand, with care, to last for generations.

Robust enough to carry a full family load to and from the line, and beautiful enough to leave in the corner of any room. Handwoven by skilled artisans - every basket is unique, a natural result of being made by hand, not machine.

Infinitely more durable than any plastic alternative, and designed to become a fixture in your home rather than a basket you need to replace.

Natural Rattan Basket

What a fabulous solid washing basket! I love it! It reminds me of my nans basket she had for years and I’m hoping this will last for years .. it’s very solid, looks amazing, sits nicely in your hip and matches my rattan lamp shade in my laundry .. very impressed! A Basket SO good I almost enjoy laundry

When I opened the box of my new laundry basket, I swear a heavenly scent punched me in the face... like someone bottled the smell of sunshine, warm linen, wood. I half-expected a tiny choir of angels to burst out singing 🌞✨
This isn’t your flimsy plastic laundry jail, oh no... This masterpiece is clearly crafted with more TLC than my last attempt at sourdough! There’s a solidity and elegance to it that says, “I could carry a week’s worth of washing in 1 hit without breaking a sweat,” yet it’s surprisingly light. It holds so much washing that I’m convinced it’s secretly a portal to Narnia.. laundry goes in, but only half re-emerges when I’m folding?

And if, in some strange future apocalypse, I need to retire it as a blanket holder by the BBQ or a firewood basket, I will do it proudly... this beauty deserves a second act 🙌🏼

I always wanted one of these laundry baskets. My Gran had one for over 50 years and now my sister has hers. I love that I have brought, this very well made, solid item for my house and I will never have to replace it.
