Our new chopping boards with hand-forged steel handles are exceptionally sturdy and make for a perfect, long-lasting heirloom.

Using locally salvaged wood which would otherwise go to landfill, each board is carefully cut and shaped by hand, sanded, and then polished with Duzz All Bees Wax. With regular oiling, these boards possess the potential to endure for generations.

The forged-steel handles are crafted by our local blacksmith, Solomon from The Solo Blacksmith.

Care Instructions

CARING FOR YOUR BESPOKE PETE & CO PRODUCT. 

All PETE & CO products are made in Aotearoa from reclaimed wood. We want you to enjoy your item for many years to come so please follow our care instructions.

  • Do not soak.
  • Do not put in the dishwasher.
  • Wash by hand if needed or simply wipe with a damp cloth. 
  • To condition use Duzz-All bees wax or Pure Tung Oil from The Natural Paint Co. 
  • If cuts and scratches occur gently sand back and re polish again.

Every board has been handcrafted from reclaimed materials so each is unique and will carry with it the visual story of a past life. Measurements are all approximate and may differ slightly.

Only the greatest multi use washing line ever!

I had been eyeing up one of these for years now and after receiving it, I am so glad I made the purchase. We use ours daily. As a young family of 5, it is used for washing, making forts and also as a fireplace guard (supervised of course). Great tape dispenser, heavy enough that it hardly moves when using. I have eco paper tape that is fairly thick and it serrated/cut it off really well. Cool industrial look too!
