You head out to the garden, ready to sink your hands in the soil...but where's your niwashi? Your snips? That feeling of stopping mid-task to retrace your steps...again - is frustrating! The Crafty Gatherer garden belt is your answer. Handmade for the everyday grower, it keeps your essential tools right where you need them...on you, hands free!

Available in left or right handed, and two sizes in features below.

Handcrafted by a skilled leather artisan in the Bay of Plenty, New Zealand.

The Crafty Gatherer Gardening Belt is the perfect companion for anyone working in the garden, orchard, or flower farm. A durable, versatile tool carrier for any task the day may bring. Whether you're pruning, weeding, planting, or harvesting, this belt helps keep your tools and essentials organized and easily accessible.

The ergonomic, adjustable design is comfortable and practical.

If you want to take it up a notch, we also offer an optional pocket attachment that lets you slide your Niwashi or Cultivator onto the belt (see photos) you can easily add this extra at checkout. It is so darn handy having this tool on you, instead of putting it down and wondering where you have put it!

Please note: the Niwashi/Cultivator pocket is sold separately and doesn’t come with the standard belt.

Made From

Durable 100% leather, heavy-duty stitching and rivets for long lasting wear.

  • Purpose-built pockets for secateurs, scissors, dibbers and small tools.
  • D-ring with clip to hold keys, string, ties, spray bottle, or gloves.
  • Separate compartment for a pocket knife, pen, or blade -sharpener.
  • Dedicated space for your phone, notebook, gloves or cloth.
  • Easily attaches a pruning saw, pocket knife and cultivator/niwashi to the belt for added convenience.

Size 1: Fits waist measurements 80cm–110cm
Size 2: Fits waist measurements 100cm–130cm

Care Instructions

We recommend spot cleaning with a damp cloth. For deeper cleaning, use mild soap and water, then air dry.

Applying a natural leather conditioner, tallow or beeswax occasionally will help prevent drying and cracking.

Keep your garden belt in a dry place.
