Made from locally salvaged timber that would otherwise have gone to landfill, each bread board is crafted by hand from start to finish. The timber is carefully selected, cut to size, lathed into shape, sanded by hand and finished with Duzz All Beeswax. No two are ever the same.

One side has a gentle bowl shape, perfect for bringing ingredients together and kneading dough. The other side is flat for slicing your finished loaf. Both sides work beautifully as a serving board or somewhere to rest fresh produce on the bench.

Made from solid hardwood, these boards are heavy enough to knead on without slipping. Simply oil regularly to keep the timber nourished and looking its best.

Care Instructions

CARING FOR YOUR BESPOKE PETE & CO PRODUCT. 

All PETE & CO products are made in Aotearoa from reclaimed wood. We want you to enjoy your item for many years to come so please follow our care instructions.

  • Do not soak.
  • Do not put in the dishwasher.
  • Wash by hand if needed or simply wipe with a damp cloth. 
  • To condition use Duzz-All bees wax or Pure Tung Oil from The Natural Paint Co. 
  • If cuts and scratches occur gently sand back and re polish again.

Every board has been handcrafted from reclaimed materials so each is unique and will carry with it the visual story of a past life. Measurements are all approximate and may differ slightly.
