Manuka & Kawakawa Face Serum
Wild herb infused hemp oil collaborate with Manuka infused jojoba oil to create this light and healing face serum. All herbs are hand foraged and respectively harvested from New Zealand native bush following traditional Rongoa philosophies.
Country Kitchen herbs are harvested seasonally at their peak and are used to make the infused oils, plant extracts and distillates. Country Kitchen believes sustainability is seasonal. Our skin care drifts with these seasons.
The potent infused oils are created with herbs nurtured and wild harvested from creator Hannahs very own country garden. The infused oils are made by macerating and infusing the medicinal herbs into organic and high quality carrier oils for four weeks, they are then strained and used throughout the range.
The distillates are crafted in the studio in an ancient alembic copper still, the steam or embodiment of water erupts the plants cellular walls capturing the magic and potent medicine within them. The steam then condenses back into water through the condenser bucket, creating the distillate, a plant essence saturated with an array of healing qualities. These hydrosols (the spirit of the plant) are used instead of water in our creams. The essential oils (the soul of the plant) are not separated from these hydrosols, by doing this it keeps the plant in as whole form as possible.
Production in the studio is not the priority, the priority is high quality. Every drop of this skin care is made with intention and purpose, so enjoy the products and nature that flows through them at its absolute purest.
